Exchange Notes Connector - how to add resilience

We have a single (clustered) Exchange 2003 mail server with a single Lotus Notes Connector to our sister company. This links to one of their clustered/replicated Notes servers. When they take this single server down for maintenance etc. we lose the email link. Had anybody experience of adding alternative/resilient routing from Exchange to Notes

Check the Docs for Lotus Notes connector. Not sure what options you have except pointing it to an alternative server.

I hope this helps !

think creating a secondary doc in notes connector to connect to the additional server may be ADC when PDC is down..hope it works
Sounds good.

I don't think it can hurt.

I hope this helps !

Hi Lakshmi, sysexpert
Thanks for your comments.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by secondary doc. Is that an alternative notes.ini ? I could do that and change the connector settings within Exchange but the Lotus Notes side would need attention. Judging from what is on the web, this whole strategy is not commonly attempted.
