its just an information of what is asp.net is doing.

Event log is meant for logging all internal system activities, like service's startups and events.

So this is again an information what is asp.net is doing on server.

so your saying there is nothing wrong with this event, for it is appearing about 12 times per hour.....

If you have Windows Server Update Services installed I would have a look and see if its still working, theres a good chance its not and it needs uninstalled and reinstalled.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

If your like me then you may have an issue uninstalling it, let me know if you do.

yes, i tried to remove wsus several months ago because it was killing me with problems. I thought i removed it but it seems that i have not removed everything associated with it. if you could assist me that would be awesome..
thanks in advance
