content protection is enabled on outlook meeting
I have a secretary that is creating appointments for the person she works for. When she creates an Outlook calendar appointment it is dispalyed with <content protection is enabled> and no other information for the appointment is dispalyed. This shows for all invited on the meeting. I am told this does not happen for all the appointments she creates.
Can anyone shed some light on this. I have not had much success hunting this solution down. Thank you

What anti virus / spam software are you wusing on the exchange? Also what are you using on her computer?

I should have added this detail. Secretary is running Outlook 2003, Windows XP SP2. Desktop protection is Symantec Antivirus. Exchange is running Symantec MailSecurity for Exchange. Exchange is 2003 enterprise edition. Thank you
Does the sec, or any of the meeting attendies have a blackberry?
ASKER
The person the secretary works for has a blackberry
Content protection is turned on the blackberry. Turn it off and see if it resolves the issue.
go to options - security - general and change content protection to disabled

It was turned on, thank you. I assume it wouldn't change the existing appointments he has on his calendar now correct? Some still display the <Content protection is enabled>. I am going to test this going forward with new appointments. Would this dispaly only for appointments he has accepted on his blackberry?
Thanks again
Thanks again
I don't think it will fix the affected appointments. I have heard of this bug only occuring on the appointments, but I also have not researched it too extensivly.

Now he tries to accept the appointment on his blackberry and the appointment stays in his Inbox with a red X. I am getting other emails from him from his blackberry.
