Weird prompt when deleting a Distribution Group from Exchange 2003
Im deleting a Distribution List from an Exchange enabled AD U&C on an Exchange 2003 server. When I try to delete the Distribution List, I get the following prompt:

Perhaps Ive never deleted a Distribution List before and this is a standard message, but I cannot work out what is being marked for deletion. I would understand it if it was a mailbox, but its not. I get this prompt also when deleting a Dist Grp which doesnt have any members, as I was initially concerned that it was these which were going to be marked for deletion. To be sure, Ive cleared out the Members List first.
The environment is Exch 2000\2003\2007 in one org, but the Dist Group cannot be administered from Exch 2007 as it doesnt have the Exchange related tabs, i.e. Exchange General, etc and as a result, cannot be seen in the Exch 2007 console. I know this isnt the problem though as I get this on another test Dist Group which does appear and also correctly has the tabs.
Hope this is clear. It isnt stopping me doing anything as I have worked around my concerns by emptying the group of members, but I want to know what it is as Dist Groups arent mailboxes as far as I know!?
