Try one of the following keys: "f2", "f8", "del" when seeing the post message in bios. This should let you enter the bios configuration tool.

rid:...there is no password prompt....when I try to change the boot settigns it says something about administrator.... how do I get by that?
This does indeed sound like an administrator password is set in BIOS. You could perhaps tell us *exactly* what it says when you try to change the settings?

What does the manual say about this? I'm sure you could get one from the maker's web site if you don't have a hardcopy.
