File-sharing between Vista 64 and Vista 32bit not working!?
This is not for me - it's for a friend.
He's got Vista running 64bit on one machine, and 32bit on another machine.
He says he's not able to get file-sharing to work between the two machines, and that it says something about being unable to share files between 64bit and 32bit machines. Is that true? How can he work around that?
ALSO - he said he'd like to consider in the future running 32bit on both machines; he said the Vista software he bought didn't say anything about being 64 or 32 bit. is it possible that they have both versions on one CD? I didn't think it was.

Unless I saw the error... and specifically what it said, I can't buy it. There's no sharing incompatibility between 64 and 32bit OS.
