old files keep coming back on roaming profile

I have a teacher for our lab says that every once in a while old files come back to her roaming profile. She deletes the files, then at some time in the future they come back. Anyone have any ideas?

Does she use a laptop occasionally outside of work? If offline files are enabled, that may cause replication of the file back to the server. Just a thought.

1) teacher should not be messing around in their roaming profile.
2) depending on your network a roaming profile can stay on the local drive.
i.e. when a user logs on to comp1 and then comp2 then log soff those comps both have the profile saved on the HD, C:\documents and settings\%username%
now if user logs on comp1 now and deletes old files then logs of then onto comp2 the old files will be back because they are already on comp2. then if the user logs off again and does not notice these old files will again get uploaded to the server and start spreading again.
set GPO's to delete roaming profiles on log off or use microsofts profile clean up util.
