Help with Windows NLB and VMware integration - ARP issues maybe

I am integrating NLB with our ESX servers.  We have two sites - one node is connected with a cisco 6509 (primary) and the other has a cisco 3550 (DR site).  when the one connected to the 3550 is restarted, it kills the connection for the other node.  The node in our DR site runs fine without the one in the primary site, but not vice versa.  Has anyone experienced issues setting up NLB with vmware?  It looks like the arp entry is getting the wrong entry when the VM server boots up, and then after 5 minutes things will run fine (arp is cleared).

When you say NLB are we talking about NLB on two VMs on ESX or what is your environment. What is the NLM cluster catering to.

Windows 2003 NLB - i'm using this for two virtual machines - they are on two seperate esx hosts.

We are having a similuar isse. Were you running the NLB in multicast mode? We have the ARP entry but when get weird results when we are connecting to the VIP.

Any suggestions?
