CSS: placing span inline with table

Hi X-perts,

Here is my page structure:

<table>
           <tr>
                <td>
                       <table id="A">.....</table
                       <span id="B">.....</span>
               </td>

Though table and span are box elements, the span B goes below table A. How can I fix it to force table A and span B inline?

Thanks

A

inline? Cant you just do that?

<table>
           <tr>
                <td>
                       <table id="A">.....</table>
                </td>
                <td>
                       <span id="B">.....</span>
               </td>

???

Or do you need those elements in line ? if yes then you need to set display:inline as mplungjan proposed.
