OPENING AN OUTLOOK FOLDER THAT IS ON A DIIFERRENT DRIVE
The motherboard on my desktop has crashed.
The desktop drive is however fine.
I am now using my laptop
I NEED to read files in the outlook folder on my desktop drive - they are different from those on my laptop.
I have installed the desktop drive to my laptop via an external drive box
I can access the desktop drive.
MY PROBLEM - I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ACCESS THE OUTLOOK FOLDER ON THE DESKTOP DRIVE WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO USE THE LAPTOP OUTLOOK FOLDER.

Dear Lee
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have tried it and have located the correct file/directory.
However when I want to set it as the folder to open I get the message that "access is denied because I do not have the necessary permission.
I was in fact the administrator on the desktop and I know my password
But I do not know where to intall it
Thanks,
Inkie

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
...but obviously you will need to change the C:\ for the drive that you have attached to your laptop.
