I already installed the first virtual windows 2003 by using virtual pc 2007 called win2k3a . How can I do the duplication of the vhd file so that I can have another two additional servers win2k3b and win2kc. I just copy the vhd file and rename the computer name but some how it doesn't work when trying to promote it to be a domain controller on the second virtual server (no problem with the first virtual server created). 'It look like all the vhd is the same' Is there anyway to make the vhd works like a different or another server without to doing the installation process from scratch. i'm thinking to make the first vhd as a 'template' for all my win2k3 server. And try to do the same thing for another OS.
