Thanks for the input. In the end the combination of things I ran (Such as hijack this, spyware removers genera lean up) and the client reported a massive improvement so no need to invesigate further really as they are happy.<br />

But then uses System Internals and that was showing &quot;Hareware Interupts&quot; as running at 40-50%.<br />

This led me to think that something in the hardware is causing problems and they siad they did reently install a HP laser printer.<br />

Have removed all perhipherals accepts for Mouse and Keyboard (also previous to this run anti spyware and other clean up programs including hijack this).<br />

Net result is better performance but it is still not fantastic.<br />

How can I investigate further what is causing the hardware interupt appering.<br />
