View second monitor preview on primary

Hi.

I've got my PC in one room and my TV in another room.  I've got composite leads running to the TV and an amplifier so that I can watch vids straight off the PC on my TV.

This is what I do to watch a movie...

I have to start the movie on the primary monitor and then pause it.  I then drag the media player onto the second monitor and take my wireless mouse into the other room.  I can then double-click the movie on the secondary monitor (TV) so that it goes full screen, and then click play to watch it.

This works, but the mouse is a bit crap in the other room, which is fair enough.  I just wondered if there is a piece of software that gives a 'picture-in-picture' approach to dual monitors, so that I could see what I was doing on the secondary monitor, whilst sitting in front of the primary?

Please, don't suggest hardware changes or anything unrelated to what I'm asking.  If what I have asked for is not available, then I'll simply develop it myself.  I just don't want to bother building a piece of software that already exists.

Thanks a lot!

I have never heard of picture-in-picture for anything other than two television tuners, with one displaying inside the other.  The secondary display in a video card is separate from the primary, and they do not interact.  I would suggest a longer range wireless mouse or using an extender, even though that's not what you want, but I think the answer is, "you can't do that" to what you want.

capture cards have this feature Jaymol,
what's you video card brand Nvidia or ATI or are you using a different device to view videos from your PC to the TV?
My setup:
using nvidia 6600GT video card with Tv out
s-video cable and audio cables to TV and Amplifier, gold plated s-video cable and audio cable.
display set at clone mode, not dual screen
Using clone mode there is no need to drag the media player to the TV screen or secondary screen.
Instead I set the secondary screen at full screen in my display settings so on my desktop the media player is small but on the TV full screen, I have a 68 CM TV and the video playback is as good a dvd.
As soon as I start a video it immediately goes to full screen on the TV.
using composite is not a good quality video playback.
so that may solve your problem right there
just enque your videos in MPC /media player classic , playlist ( I use that player ) and they play one after the other
But your choice.

Picture in Picture is a form of time shifting used in PVR.
I have a capture card from Leadtek Winfast,
the  PVR personal video recorder has picture in picture

It's an old thread but there is a new solution if someone it's interested. It's an app in Microsoft Store: Remote Monitor . It shows a preview of the second monitor inside a window in the main monitor. It's very easy to use.
