We have a watchguard Firebox x550e running fireware v9.1 We are trying to have someone send us a excel file thru email. However we keep getting the kickeback below. where can I change this at in the Firebox to allow these attachments to be sent? Thanks

The WatchGuard Firebox which protects your network detected a message which may not be safe.

Cause : The message format may not be safe.
Content type : (none)
File name    : Invoice_Detail.csv
Virus status : Invoice_Detail.csv
Action       : The Firebox deleted Invoice_Detail.csv.

Your network administrator can not restore this attachment.

It appears you have configured Gateway AV for filtering out your SMTP traffic. The current rules are not allowing the csv files; if you go to SMTP Service properties; Edit Proxy Action [I think this is set to SMTP-Incoming] and then further proceed to Attachments->Filenames; click Change View button; do you have *.csv added here; if no add it; make sure that action is Allow and NOT AV Scan.

This should help allowing the csv files in; caution with this setting all csv files would be allowed; if you wish to allow csv files from a specific incoming source; then I would suggest you to create one more SMTP service and configure it with *.csv Allow and from the specific public IP.

Please let know if you need more details.

Thank you.
