To what extent do you want to publish it? Report like style? web service style? web application style?

Your requirement is broad. Give more deatils as to what you want to do on your DB.

I think it would be web application style. This spring a developer was retained to create an internal application and provided us with a production DB accesible by just hittiing the URL http://servername.
It appears that a working development environment wasn't part of the spec. I have been asked to create a development environment. So it has been easy enough to copy the DB, now I am hoping to enable a similar instance of the web front end, accessible from an alternate UR address.

I have included the code from the default.aspx default page if that helps to describe what is currently being offered.

<%@ master language="C#" autoeventwireup="true" inherits="MasterPage, App_Web_hplgcnxm" %>

<%@ Import Namespace="isUserStuff" %>

<%  isUserItems iui;

    iui = new isUserItems();

    int sValid = iui.IsUser();

    if (sValid == 0) { Response.Redirect("/includes/logon.aspx"); }
