Is your project saved in sourcesafe or something alike ? I just tried it here and it did work without any problem. If you start a new project, can you change it then ?

I went to Tools->Options->Projects and Solutions->Build and Run

I set Before Building to Don't save any changes but I keep getting this error if I try to build:

"The file C:\Documents and Settings\...\Form1.vb cannot be modified at this time."

If I set it to Save all changes, it is working fine.
