I'm trying to restore an Exchange 5.5 SP4 server on Windows 2000, using Veritas 10.
I was given details of what the Organisation and Site names were believed to be, however upon restoring the IS the Restore job failes with the following message:
THE MICROSOFT EXCHANGE INFORMATION STORE WAS NOT RESTORED TO THE SPECIFIED SERVER BECAUSE THE ORGANIZATION AND/OR SITE NAMES WERE DIFFERENT

Is there anyway of finding out what the Organisation and Site names need to be from a Backup tape?

the "find" command can be used but it needs to be run against the priv.edb file
if you can get the databases of the tape then run the following command from the folder that contains the databases

find "ou=" priv.edb
