Windows 2000 Certification Authority Renewal for Windows 2003 DC

I had upgraded my domain to Windows 2003 for 2 years ago. Due to some reasons, I must keep "Certification Authority Server"  in Windows 2000 version.

1. I remembered that new 2003 DC certificate will be auto issued into "Certification Authority Server" when new DC has been promoted. Now how to renew Windows 2003 DC certificates (totally 4 DCs) under WIndows 2000 "Certification Authority Server" ?

2. On the other hand, other certificates are also using by Web server and Exchange server IIS service for secure communications. Must I  renew this certificate after expired ? I just tried to renew it early, but the date is still held on JUL 2008 after renewal procedure.


Can help please ?

it is windows 2000 Certification Authority Renewal, not 2003 CA, which should has some different? Furthermore, can explain  more detail...

Physically, I want to know the actually steps, how to do and it should be working as my expected.
