Remove certain Spyware/Malware

I am getting popups from PC Privacy Cleaner and Antivirus 2008 PRO.  How can I go about removing these form my system without buying the software that these applications are prompting me to buy to get rid of the program?

I would suggest using Rogue Remover:

Then download, update and run Superantispyware in safe mode:

Good luck!!!

Thanks.  Ill give it a try.  Why these two?  I haven't heard of them.  I have Spyware Doctor and Adaware on my PC.  Are these much better?
Rogue Remover is designed to get rid of scam ware such as the two popups you mentioned.
Superantispyware is the industry leader for removing malware, in my humble opinion.
Thanks.  I will try these tonight.  IF it works as easy as you recommned, Ill up the points because it would really help if I find a quick solution.
Good luck!
er...how did you get on?

OK. I'm glad you got it sorted.
But I am very surprised that an updated Superantispyware scan in safe mode found nothing, but Spybot S&D did...
AntiVirus 2008 PRO was added to the SAS database a couple of weeks ago:
