Exchange server not available

I have reloaded exchange from scratch due to problem when a user tries Outlook they get excange unavailble I tried to mount the store but received an error message telling me to restart system manager or exchange information store or both with no luck

It usually helps if you post the type of error you're getting. This info is usually available in the event log. It could be 10,000 different things - that's where precise errors can be very helpful with troubleshooting.

The error msg I got is:
The MAPIcall 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error: The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not availble. Either there arenetwork problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance.
The MAPI provider failed.
Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
IDno: 8004011d-0526-00000000
