Undeliverable Appointment

I have one user that when i send her a appointment i get a undeliverable saying that it did not reach all of its recipients.  The user that it says can not be reached is a former employee that has been gone for some time.  The user has been deleted out of our system as well as her mailbox purged.  We have checked the properties and security on the users computer that is getting this message and there is no one other than the normal admins with access.  We have checked mailbox rights as well as delegates and she is not listed under there either.  To make the problem even worse when the user sends herself a appointment she does not get a undeliverable.  She only gets a undeliverable when anyone else sends her a appointment.  It does not happen on any other type of outlook item other than calender.  How do i make this stop sending back undeliverables??

It will be a delegate problem, and it can be a PITA to get rid of if you can't find it.

Add another user as a delegate, restart outlook then remove this other user - that usually clear is.  If not, then you need to get cracking with the big tools;
