Can't find Enterprise Manager Database Control product in 10.2.0.x Universal Installer or Companion CD
We a preparing to upgrade from Oracle 10g R1 (10.1.0.5) to R2 (10.2.0.1 then 10.2.0.2) and when performing a simulated upgrade I can't find the Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control 10.2.0.x component in the Universal Installer or Companion CD. Does Oracle no longer offer OEM as a base feature of their product as they did with 10g R1 and earlier? Or am I simply missing something? Am I supposed to download it via Metalink? If yes, has it been renamed to Enterprise Manager Grid Control, or is that a different product?
Am I correct in assuming that upgrading to R2 will not automatically upgrade my current installation of OEM, as 10g R1 needs to be uninstalled as part of the upgrade/reinstall?

It's there, it's installed with the database and it's called the same thing in release 2.
Database Control is part of the software installation. It is NOT on a separate CD and you do not need to download it. You need to download Enterprise Manager (OEM) if you choose to monitor your database with Grid Control. But I understand you only want Database Control.
You are given the option during database creation to monitor your database with Database Control or Grid Control. This is when you select Database Control and it is automatically configured for you. In fact Database Control is the default.
If you missed this then you can always configure it afterwards.

How do I get to my enterprise manager database control? I didn't write down the url when I was installing.
sdrawcat,
You need to search the net for answer to this or start your own thread so that you can award points. That's what we work for on EE :)
