Error when completing the backup
Hello, I just upgraded the Backup Exec on one of the servers running windows 2003. The first problem was that the installation could not migrate the backup task. So I created it again. But when the backup completes, I receive an error: followed the error code provided I found this on Symantec web site:
To resolve this issue, change the permission for the specific application referred to in the CLSID from customize to default.
To change DCOM permissions:
1.) Go to Administrative Tools
2.) Expand Component Services
3.) Double click on the Computers folder on the right pane
4.) Double click on the my computer icon in the right pane
5.) Double click DCOM Config
6.) Search for the application referred to by the CLSID
7.) Right click the application and select properties
8.) Click on the Security tab
9.) Under "Launch and Activation Permissions" change from customize to default.
10.)Click OK
Up to here is ok, but when i enter the DCOM config, what I have to search for? I have no idea what is this application referred to by the CLSID.

Error category : Job ErrorsError : e0008821 - Job was recovered as a result of Backup Exec RPC service starting. No user action is required.

The application you are looking for is 'Backup Exec RPC service'
Sorry - I see your problem now when following it through myself. Just gimme a sec to work out which is which.
