Invalid FORMATETC structure

I'm using VS 2008 and aspNet3.5. Whenever I attempt to add a new ajax control, I get the following error:
The operation could not be completed. Invalid FORMATETC structure. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks.

They mention about making the control public, or just exiting out and back in again.

I did the folllowing steps and it worked:
1- Upgraded AjaxControlToolkit to May 13 2003 version
2- Simply checkedout the entire solution and then tried adding the control again
