ActiveSync for Blackberry instead of BIS?

Is there an activesync client available for Blackberry devices?

Not very impressed with the Blackberry Internet Service and not interested in BES.

Our symbian phones work great with RoadSync - but one person has a Blackberry and emails take half an hour or so to come through.

Thanks, but I don't want a solution that requires the user to leave their PC on.

Want something that works completely independent of the desktop.

Yes, I did know that...it just seemed a bit overkill for one Blackberry.

It's annoying - I've been using PDAs (and then moved onto PDA phones) for around 15 years now...have gone through Palm OS, Windows Mobile, Blackberry...and finally found the Nokia E61 which works exactly as we need it to work and performs great using RoadSync with Exchange.

But now can't find anyone who is selling them - so went for a Blackberry for a new employee - and his email is taking 30 minutes to get through to him...which is no use to us at all.
