How to change Avery label size for an existing Word document

I have an existing label document(Avery 5923), and I want to change the lable size to Avery 8164.

Do you mean a mail merge main document?

Run the mail merge Wizard with the document open. Copy the first label to the clipboard. When the label is about to be changed you will be warned that the contents will be deleted. OK that and when the new layout appears, paste to clipboard contents to the first label. Use the 'Propagate Labels' button  to copy in the fields and text into the other labels on the sheet.
