When I run a manual inventory, about 15 min into the inventory it fails and I get this message "Inventory Library Failure" .  Has anyone seen this before?

Yeah, I had this before but after I ran a live update and updated to Veritas BE3 it went away. Also try updating your tape drive and SCSI adapter bios. You can also update tape library drivers by downloading them from Symantec website, not manufacturer. Ensure windows removable storage is not running (that can confuse the system). Your tape library should be showing up under device manager as "unknown" - all the drivers are within the software itself and are not needed to be installed on OS level. If you did install the driver, un-install it and allow Veritas to select the driver for you through it's own set of built-in drivers.
