capturing resultset of stored procedure and sending results through email in ssis

Hi Experts,
i need help in SSIS. I want to capturing results of a stored procedure and send the result set using send mail task. i know that i should store the resultset values in a global variable and then call the variable in send mail task.
i am not able to capture the results into a variable. please help
give me some idea

You can put the result in a table variable or temp table, call that using the send mail task.

Assuming your SP returns a table. (if not, just change your variable type accordingly)

create an "object" variable.
Add a SQL Script task
Edit the SQL Script task to have the SP in the sql query field
Change the "result" field to "Full result set"
In the "Results" section on the left, add a result line.
Make that result name "0" and assign it to the object variable you created.

The results will be pumped to that variable.
