W3SVC and SMTPSVC stoped at the same time

Yesterday, W3SVC service stoped suddently and at the same time SMTPSVC Service stoped aswell at the Same time!!!. so as a result user was unable to open internal report via IIs and email was bouncing back. so i had to restart the Server. after that everything was running fine .

this problem happeded 1 and half month ago aswell .

any one have any idea , why this problem is happinning ??

Event log is not giving any error.  I just need to resart my server thats all.

If you have CPU monitoring turned on it can be configured to turn off the services if the load hits a high mark.  Check all your settings for the application pool.

If your server is maxing out the CPU usage you can monitor it using IIS.  Right click on the application pool and set the CPU monitoring to detect it.  The attached BMP shows the tab with possible settings.
