Microsoft, Windows 2000 & Outlook

I have a situation where i have two machines. One is running Win2K the other XP Pro. Both are running outlook 2007. On the XP machine, in outlook, there is an option to 'connect to microsoft exchange using HTTP' following this route;

TOOLS > Accounts > Open account in question > More Settings > Connection

However, following the same route on the Win2K machine, there is no such options.

I use a hosted email server and the XP machine is connectd to it using the 'Connect via HTTP' options. I can use Outlook web access on the Win2k machine succesfully.

What i need to know is, how do i get the Win2K machine to connect to the MSExchange using HTTP.

Hello,
I beleive "RPC over HTTP" requires XP Pro SP1 or higher.

There are several requirements for this feature. These include:

Microsoft Windows® XP with Service Pack 1 and the Q331320 hotfix (or a later service pack) installed on users' computers
Outlook 2003
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 e-mail accounts
Microsoft Windows Server" 2003 (required for server components only)

Hope this helps!
