Fax Service Manager not routing email properly

We are having trouble routing email through exchange to the appropriate public folder using Fax Service Manager.  There were two accounts setup prior to creating this new account that work without a problem.  We added an additional Brooktrout card to the server for the 3rd account and setup the distribution group and public folder identical to the first two accounts.  We have matched every aspect of the two working accounts as far as permissions go but it will not route the email to the folder.

We have tested the email routing to the administators email account and it works without a problem but when trying to route to the distribution group or direct to the public folder it goes into lala land.

Server is running SBS 2003 SP2 and Exchange 2003 SP2.

Can you please verify if  C:\WINDOWS\system32\fxsroute.dll file is version 5.2.3790.3959?

Also, can you send email directly to the new distribution group, and is it received properly?

Yes to both of your questions.   Email sent direct to the distribution group routes to the public folder without a problem and I verified that fxsroute.dll is version 5.2.3790.3959.

I think your best option would be to reinstall the fax service. There are instructions on how to do this here:  http://sbsurl.com/fax

Hi,

I am having a similar problem with my SBS2003 in that it does not route incoming faxes anymore to my fax public folder. It used to work great then suddenly stopped routing to email only.

Also I cannot appear to find an up to date log file.

1)where is the log file supposed to be stored, as I cannot find one thats up to date?

I am running the latest fxsroute.dll by the way.
