Coldfusion ODBC Server Service Crashing

We are having problems on a Windows 2003 Server with Coldfusion MX 7.  We have three applicaitons that need to use an ODBC connection.  Every 6 to 7 days we get a series of the error below and then it eventually causes Coldfusion to crash.

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( ColdFusion MX 7 ODBC Server ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: ColdFusion MX 7 ODBC Server@LOCALHOST,ErrorCode=3001,ErrorMessage=socsrv.swsoc.9182.Internal error, memory allocation failed.,ClientHost=127.0.0.1,Session=123.

Does anyone have any advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this.  Reinstalling Coldfusion MX 7 would be our very last resort.

Thanks.

We're are having similar issues but the URL listed here as the solution is no longer working.  Can anyone give a brief summary or point to the new/updated URL?
