In a visual Web Developer 2008 Express ASP.net web form (vb.net)
I have an OCX control named magview.ocx
I have referenced the file and have the following resource in my Bin: Interop.MAGVIEWLib.dll
My understanding is that I can't drag & drop the control like I can with the other controls in my toolbox because it is . ocx.

I have seen people reference that you can embed the control in object tags.

Can you please show  how this is done? How would the class be created?
I was able to add the ocx control to a MS Access page successfully

Thank you in advance.

OCX files are ActiveX controls.  I've never heard of .NET applications being developed in Visual Studio supporting ActiveX controls.
