Graphic sometimes expands when pasted into a container field

I am trying to put a tiny graphic in a field to use in a portal window. The idea is that this trash can will allow the user to delete a portal row when they clicked on the graphic.
The problem is that when I insert the graphic or paste the graphic, it expands. If I copy a container field from another file where a graphic hasn't expanded, sure enough the graphic I am using doesn't expand, but it does 'blur'. Does anyone know what causes the expanding/blurring and how I can stop it?

check the object properties, graphic format, you probably have the reduce/enlarge on. Use 'crop' instead

OK, I looked for something like that, but couldn't find where it was. Object Info is just object info....Where is this?

Ah! I think I found it. It is on the container, not the graphic under 'Graphic' ???

true, in design mode, select the object, then right click, graphic format, sorry I missed the details, so obvius for me, and there is a tool palette which is also called object properties (where coordinates are shown) which cuold lead to confusion.
obviously it took you 2mn to find, so not to bad!
