Fast Busy Tone

We upgraded the CCM application 5.0 (4) to 5.0 (4a) on the Publisher and Subscriber. After this, the servers were re-started and swithched to the inactive partiton.

After this, we get a fast busy tone whenwe dial external numbers. But, we continue to get incoming calls.

The PSTN gateways are registered with the CCM servers.The mgcp endpoints were re-started, but this did not help.

Any suggestions?

On outgoing calls do you need to dial a certain prefix?  IE: 9+xxx-xxx-xxxx?

Maybe the prefix is missing?  Or do you need to dial 10 digit phone and it's only dialing 7 digit?  
Do you need to dial 1?  etc....?  Just some thoughts....

Wakeup, thanks for replying. But, i don't think this was a route-pattern issue. The complete number with prefix code was dialled.
The issue was with the Subscriber server. Somehow the upgrade was not successfull on the Subscriber. Therefore there was a version mismatch between the two servers. This is what we did:
1. Tried to re-install the upgrade pack, but there was an error observed while updating the database.
2. Therefore, rebuilt the Subscriber and reinstalled the upgrade pack.

Everything seems to be working fine now(fingers crossed).
It was an excellent learning experience though - R&D on a live server!!
