Sql Server Management Studio

I need to install Sql Server Management Studio on my workstation.

Is this under sql native client installation? I hope not, this keeps failing to install.

It is available as a seperate download - are you sure it is the 2008 version ? The first release candidate (RC0) has just been released, so is porbably worthwhile lookinf at that rather than the CTP version previously available...

But for 2005 SSMS goto : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c243a5ae-4bd1-4e3d-94b8-5a0f62bf7796&displaylang=en

for 2008 RC0 (release candidate 0 as at 10th Jun 2008) : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=35f53843-03f7-4ed5-8142-24a4c024ca05&DisplayLang=en

My disk is the CTP, I got it at Heros Happen Here and Just wanted to install the client on my workstation. I have already installed 2008 db on the server.
Question has a verified solution.
