HOW DO YOU REMOVE HIGHLIGHTING ON THE DESKTOP ICONS?

Hi

My Desktop icons have all gone blue; looks like they have all become highlighted simultaneously.
But clicking one particular icon still owrks ok.

How can I reset my Desktop to its previous state?

Sometimes this is due to Spyware, check the following:

Right click on your Desktop
Select Properties
Select Customize Desktop
Select Web
Ensure there are not webpages seelcted
