Trouble Saving Movie in Premier Pro CS3

I have Priemier Pro CS3 I have completed the movie and select, File Export Movie - it runs through the cycle with no error or success message - but it does not generate a file.
This is a large file - 3G - I tried to reboot but it still did not work

What conditions are you exporting to? What format, what compressions etc...

I dare to ask, but is this a 'demo'/beta version, or a fully licensed retail copy...

It may be worth performing an update on the program first to get all the latest bug fixes etc; beta versions of the application are just for test purposes so may be flaky and not work with all export and codec types.

Hi Bluefezteam-
It is a licensed bersion and I am using the default settings to export the movie - when I click on settings it says Microsoft DV AVI Entire Sequence

I also have another question regarding Premiere - when I put in a still or an overlay the video jumps to the right and gets blurry - do you know how to stop the jump? I will open another question for this if you wish - but my client is not happy with the resolution and jump

Hmm is the image to the same resolution as you video?
Sounds as though the resolution is tweaking to adjust to the still image.

In regards to saving the video, the project file is 3GB, when you come to export it, it will need a lot more space to work with, both for processing and then the final write to disk. Do you have enough space on your drive? Is your drive a high speed drive?

I'm sure it should inform you if there isn't space, but maybe there's a problem with your installation that's preventing error messages.

What operating system are you using? That may help locate some problems, perhaps a reinstall/repair install may be in order as there could be problems with the CODEC and settings you are using.

Have you tried other settings like Quicktime?

Hi-
I was able to save one movie fine (3,731, 333 kb) which was about 17.02 min - the one that did not save was about 48 min - I will try to take it into the office and see if I have better luck there -
I am on Win XP and I have a Dell XPS M170

I am going to open up 2 more questions - one re the jumping and another re corrupt video - I want to make sure I split out seperate questions.
