Hallo,

I need a good "HTTP pseudo-streaming player" for video site development, something like xmoov.
Need to secure media content, and on-the-fly bandwdith detection player.
Any experience is highly appreciated.

are you looking for something where users can upload content or just select content to be played?  How secure does the media need to be?

I will usually convert video to FLV and then capture thumbnails of the clips for previews and the user selects which will play.  then the video loads into a player inside a swf.  There is no easy way for the user to see the name of the file or directory structure. If you want complete security you will need a lot more than that tho.

Hope this helps,
c
