Compare Oracle installed on Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun OS)

Hi experts,
Please give me some trusted information about comparison between oracle 11g installed on Windows and oracle installed on Unix (linux, Sun os). Which is the best? I hesitate to choose on which OS I will install Oracle 11g.

it all depends which os you are more comfortable with ..and for unix/linux etc you have to set many variables manually as for windows the installation becomes very simple as good as just clicking the next button and your installation completes...if you are not very good with unix/linix scripting i would suggest u go with windows...i have been using windows without any probs for a lot many years..

Redhat Linux is the best but you can use any unix flavor linux Sun Solaris, HP UX, linux etc

According to the Oracle Corporation Redhat Linux (RHEL)+Oracle is the unbreakable solution.

The reason to use Unix (any flavor) instead of Windows is, the unix based systems are more reliable and less vulnerable to accept viruses as compared to windows OS.
