jQuery equivalent for scriptaculous slideshow

Hello Experts,
I currently have a working sideshow on the site which uses sideshow.js for scriptaculous. For various reasons we have decided not to use scriptaculous anymore.
Can someone of you please let me know if there is any equivalent sideshow feature/plugin in jQuery.
I am attaching the existing code which actually receive list of Ids to process the sideshow.
Your help is much appreciated.

Hello Hielo,
Thanks for your post, however, that seems only sliding through the images ...
I want it also for the rest of the content for each record
