Has anyone come across this error before? Could not start print spooler service on the local computer. Error 23 Cyclic redundancy check.

The print spooler service will not start even when logged on as administrator.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

No, did not see that one before, but CRC , that sounds like an error on harddisk.
Perhaps time to check if backup's are up to date.

Did you try running a chkdsk of drive , I asume, C: ?
found in MyComputer->File menu->Properties->tools->check now -with checkmarks filled.

Hi, I ran a disk check yesterday and there were few errors it fixed. Spooler service started back up after a reboot.

Thanks!
