Can the PC be restarted automatically after installed the assigned software from GPO

I need to find a way to restart the pc automatically (not going to the logon screen) after installed the assigned software. Any help is welcomed. Thanks!

haven't used assigned software via GPO for a very long time, but as far as I remember, you can't pass any parameters to a package.
If I'm wrong you can use

/forcerestart
or
REBOOT=F

as a parameter to MSIEXEC.

If you can/want edit the MSI (using i.e. ORCA) you could modifiy the property REBOOT and set it to Force. This should cause a restart.

Thank you , mpfister. Can you let me know where should I in ORCA for the Reboot property? If there's no such value, can I create an entry?

Open the MSI with Orce
Click "Property" in the left column
Right-click in the right pane and select "Add row"
Enter
REBOOT

as poperty (note all capital letters) and

Force

as value.

Save the MSI.
