I have oracle 9.2 on my windows machine..I installed informatica 7.1 on the same machine and have been using and running that for 2 years...
Now I have installed oracle 10g standard edition also and installed oracle warehouse builder(OWB) tool and a repository is created in 10g.I can run OWB workflows and access 10g repository.
I can use both databases from the sql client.but when I'm starting my info repo server , it says TNS could not resolve connection identifier specified. So i removed oracle 10g totally and trying to connect to informatica thru repository server admin console..Now it throws another error, ORA-12557: TNS:protocol adapter not loadable

Can you plz tell me the solution for this??

Thanks

reinstall 10g then

copy  sqlnet.ora, tnsnames.ora  and ldap.ora (if used) from your 9i home $ORACLE_HOME_9i/network/admin to your $ORACLE_HOME_10g/network/admin
