I know asp.net. so more or less how long does it take to learn AJAX. Should I be good in java script or XML? Actually I just want to add some AJAX features into my web forms. Thanks.

It's very, very easy to learn the basics. The links I have showed you are not from asp.net but AJAX. Have a look on the videos and the toolkit that explain you all the information and steps to follow.

You can also look on the Microsoft webcasts (keywork AJAX) and you have allot of them. It's easier then you think
