Need to remove a dead Exchange 2000 server from our Domain

I am on a small 2003 Server domain with 2 Domain Controllers.

I have 1 Exchange Server and 2 older ones that are not in use but on the Domain and they show as Exchange Servers.

I know by simply uninstalling Exchange, the server should be removed from AD.  Question is one ot the ones that I would like to remove crashed.  2 of the 3 raid 5 drives are dead.  How do I go about removing it from AD, without messing things up
