Dell Tape Drives

Hi i am looking at 2 tape drives a Dell PowerVault 110 T  tape drive and a TL4000 tape drive. Can  the LTO 2 tapes and LTO 3 tapes compatible with both these drives?

which 110 T are you looking at? They have a LTO3 model and a LTO2 model.  The LTO3 model will read and write to LTO2 tapes as well, and read LTO1 tapes.

The TL4000 if you have LTO3 drives in it will do the same. LTO4 drives can read write LTO3 and read LTO2.
