Email delay - 0kb spam messages
Hello All,
I am having a problem with delayed email. We are running a watchguard X1250e firewall with fireware 10.2, Exchange 2003 SP2, GFI Mail Essentials and Mail Secuirty.
Starting sometime yesterday morning we started having an issue when email was not coming through. When I check the firewall host watch for connections there is a long list of incoming email connections to the server. Similarly when I check exchange it shows there are 45-60 current open sessions to the SMTP virtual server. The sessions times range from 900 seconds to 10 seconds. The outbound queue also has 46 null emails queued that are going out. These messages have no size, and no data and a new messages are created every 20 seconds to 3 minutes.
I'm really at a loss here...i would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks.
