I am having a problem with delayed email. We are running a watchguard X1250e firewall with fireware 10.2, Exchange 2003 SP2, GFI Mail Essentials and Mail Secuirty.<br />

Starting sometime yesterday morning we started having an issue when email was not coming through. When I check the firewall host watch for connections there is a long list of incoming email connections to the server. Similarly when I check exchange it shows there are 45-60 current open sessions to the SMTP virtual server. The sessions times range from 900 seconds to 10 seconds. &nbsp;The outbound queue also has 46 null emails queued that are going out. These messages have no size, and no data and a new messages are created every 20 seconds to 3 minutes.<br />

I'm really at a loss here...i would appreciate any help I can get.<br />

Email delay - 0kb spam messages
