User Disappear from Distribution Groups

I have had a strange thing happen lately. There have been several users that have been removed from exchange distribution groups. I didn't believe it at first but it has happened for four users now.

There aren't many people with access to change it to so I don't think it is a person but have no idea how to troubleshoot this. Any suggestions?

Turn on the audit policy for "Audit account management" to see if you get anything there if a user is missing again. Kind of hard to recreate the problem though, so if you didn't have logging on before, don't think you can find out in any way now. Do you have several domain controllers in your domain? Does replication work as it should? Audit that also.

No replication, only one DC. I will try the audit policy. Thanks.
