Hello everyone,

I have purchased 15 mappoint licenses but never actually received a CD. I have downloaded the software from my eopen licensing website, however i can't seem to install the software. Even when i burn the software to CD it still won't let me install it. It keeps telling me that i have to setup a network installation point ect, ect. I have tried everything the instructions have told me to do (admin installation with the /a switch from a network installation point). Does anyone know of a way that i can install this software without the actual media?

         Thansk,

You probably did not purchase a license group that included a CD.  Or else they are slow in sending it, or else they have not got their ordering correct.  You need to EMAIL the company first, and complain that you paid for 15 licenses but never received a CD -- have them send you the correct media that their program wants.  It is more or less impossible for 3rd parties to correct the flaws in a ecommerce website like theirs.

Normally you would just extract the CD iso to a directory on a server, and run setup from that server, using each workstation to navigate to the right directory on the server where you extracted the data.  But, we cannot tell exactly what mappoint is doing.  You need to contact them directly.
